With all of the uncertainty surrounding weddings and what can and cannot happen with them during Summer 2020, I wanted to spread love and share some positivity in the form of a gorgeous engagement shoot and how, through everything, you can still have the perfect proposal and start your journey together with a little help from a proposal planner.

With all of the restrictions in place on travel, parties, eating out and general celebrations, it’s easy to get caught up in what you cannot do, and I don’t blame you, however I wanted to share with you the perfect idea to either propose to you loved one, celebrate your recent engagement or even have the perfect excuse to get together with your photographer and have a dreamy pre wedding shoot now you’ve have to possibly postpone for another year!

For this shoot, we chose the gorgeous backdrop that is Four Seasons Hampshire. A luxury manor house hotel situated in 500 acres of the beautiful Hampshire countryside. I wanted to use a couple in a real situation in their own clothes and doing their own hair and make-up. Not only was this to ensure everybody could stay at a safe distance, but to me, it just made the whole day feel more romantic.

We chose the most vibrant colours, pinks, peaches and yellows and used the most gorgeous selection of peonies and roses to create a fun yet romantic setting.

Claire & Steve became the stars of our engagement picnic shoot. After meeting in July 2016 whilst on holiday in Rhodes, the couple kept in touch and swiftly had their first date as a weekend away in Canterbury. Fast forward 4 years, Claire and Steve had the perfect proposal in Monaco and are now engaged with a gorgeous little girl to keep them busy! Being asked to be models for the shoot seemed a fun idea. Some ‘us time’ is always welcome. They also saw the shoot as a lovely opportunity to create some memories – something to look back on from this time as an engaged couple.

If you’re currently planning the perfect proposal and need a little helping hand, would like more information on engagement shoot styling, or would like to know more about our full wedding planning services, then please get in touch with today.
